Troy University (TROY) in partnership with Region IV of the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) provides opportunities for its employees to achieve personal and professional growth through TROY's undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

Partnership Benefits

  • 10% tuition scholarship for in-class and online programs. (Effective beginning Term 2 (October) 2013). 
    • For assistance with the employee tuition scholarship, please contact scholarships@troy.edu. 
    • The tuition scholarship is effective for enrollment in future terms and will not be applied retroactively.
    • Proof of eligibility is required.
    • Please note, Corporate Partnership scholarships cannot be used in conjunction with any other scholarship or tuition assistance awarded by Troy University.

  • Free transcript evaluation.
  • Access to TROY Career Services recruitment tool and job posting network, Handshake. Employers may post jobs and internships for all TROY students to view and apply.

Steps to Receiving Your Partnership Benefits

ADMISSIONS

1. Review admission requirements and apply

2. To waive your application fee, enter your Partnership Number or code on the payment screen. Please contact your Partnership Liaison or your Troy University Admissions representative to obtain the number or code.

3. Submit transcripts, test scores and other required documents

4. After admission, complete the application for Financial Aid

5. Provide proof of eligibility to your Partnership Liaison and your assigned student services representative

TUITION SCHOLARSHIP

1. Log in to the TROY Scholarship Portal using your Trojan Pass credentials

2. Select the scholarships tab and search for “Corporate Partnership 10% Tuition Discount” 

3. Click "Complete Follow Up" button

4. Complete the scholarship application and submit

The partnership between SSA and Troy University was established in March 2013. You are encouraged to apply at any time!

When will I start to receive the 10% tuition scholarship?

Your tuition scholarship will be applied to your account within 48 hours of awarding.
