1.    Completed International Application

2.    Official copy of high school (grades 10–12) transcripts. 

3.    Official copy of high school diploma/certificate. 

4.    Financial statement: original bank statement (issued within the last six months).

5.    Sponsor letter (required if financial documents are not in the applicant's name). 

6.    English proficiency (More information below).

7.    Passport identification page with visible machine-readable code zone, valid for at least six months beyond the intended enrollment date.

Note: Troy University's main campus offers English as a Second Language courses. English proficiency placement test is available upon arrival.

Official copies of documents must be provided in the original language and in English translation if the original is not in English, in PDF format for initial evaluation. 

Alternatively, applicants may request that their institution send official credentials directly to Troy University at intltranscripts@troy.edu.

Applicants must submit an official copy of one of the following undergraduate documents:

·      Diploma/Certificate of Completion/Provisional Certificate of high school

·      Letter of good standing from high school (if applicant enrolled in last semester of study)

·      Transcripts

·      Marksheets 

·      Transcripts of enrollment without grades for last semester (if applicant enrolled in last semester of study)

Applicants who have started and/or completed undergraduate study must also provide their undergraduate academic documents. Upon arrival, all official academic documents must be presented in original form for admission verification. 

Bank Statement

• The bank/financial statement's issuance date cannot be older than 6 months.
• It must show name of bank, issuance date, bank account owner (must be a real person, not a business), current/closing balance.
• It must be from a checking or savings account with immediately available funds. 

Sponsor Letter

Bank statements not in the applicant's name require an original sponsor letter. The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the sponsor. The sponsor should include a brief description detailing how s/he intends to sponsor the applicant while attending Troy University. Please sign and date the letter. If the sponsor letter is not in English, provide an English translation.

Applicants may submit a PDF copy of their English proficiency exam results, and Troy University will verify the scores directly with the testing agency. The exception is SAT and ACT scores, which must be submitted electronically using the Troy University school code: 1738

Letters regarding medium of instruction from a high school, university, or college are not acceptable for admission.

To satisfy the English proficiency requirement, applicants must submit one of the following scores:

 

o   Cambridge A/AS score of at least a C1

o   DuoLingo score of at least a 95 

o   IELTS score of at least a 5.5   

o   iTEP score of at least a 3.5

o   MET (Michigan English Test) score of at least a 51

o   Oxford ELLT score of at least a 6

o   PTE (Pearson Test of English) score of at least a 46 

o   TOEFL score of at least 3.5 (old scale 61)

Student copies of the GRE or GMAT are not acceptable for admission purposes.

GRE official score. The original should be sent directly to Troy University from the Educational Testing Service (ETS). The institutional code is 1738. 

GMAT official score. The original should be sent from the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The institutional code is 1B1-ZJ-90
