The Helen Keller Lecture Series Returns March 31 — Real Strength. Real Stories.

Shark attack survivor and Lulu Strong Foundation founder, Lulu Gribbin, takes the stage March 31 at 11 a.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater on the Troy Campus for the Helen Keller Lecture Series. This annual event shares powerful stories of resilience and purpose as Lulu recounts her journey of overcoming adversity and inspiring others. The lecture honors the enduring legacy of Helen Keller and celebrates strength, courage and the human spirit.

Trojan Patriot Academy: June7-12, 2026

A select group of rising high school juniors and seniors from around Alabama will learn more about leadership, civics and U.S. history during Trojan Patriot Academy each summer, presented by Troy University and The American Village. This unique experience will allow students to connect with other young leaders from around the state and grow as citizens ready to make a positive impact.

Event Date: June 7-12, 2026
Location: Troy University, Troy, AL and The American Village, Montevallo, AL

Applications are due by March 31, 2026. Acceptance letters will be sent by April 3, 2026.
