Jumpstart Your Nursing Career with a Nursing Student Apprenticeship
Launched in 2023 to break down barriers to nursing careers and help fill the nationwide nurse shortage, the Nurse Student Apprenticeship program has already placed Bachelor of Science in Nursing students in two-year apprenticeships at Flowers Hospital in Dothan and the Baptist Health system.
As a nursing major, you'll have the opportunity to apply and interview for the apprenticeship program, which replaces some clinical rotations. Through it, you'll learn from experienced nursing professionals and gain experience in clinical practice and real-world scenarios.

What Can You Do with a BSN?
Nursing jobs for graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing span far and wide. Whether you want to work in obstetrics, pediatrics, psychiatry, oncology, surgery, geriatrics, recovery room, critical care or other settings, the BSN degree qualifies you to care for a range of patients. You'll also be prepared to take on higher-level roles than allowed with an associate nursing degree.
