Dr. Kelly Langenberg

An active freelancer in the Chicago area and now in southeastern Alabama and the Panhandle region, Kelly's “ferociously powerful” (ITG Journal, 2014) playing has been heard in orchestral and chamber music settings throughout the United States and abroad. Kelly is currently a member of the Albany Symphony (GA) and Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra.

Dr. Tiffany Nishibun

Dr. Tiffany M. Nishibun brings nearly two decades of experience in collegiate voice instruction to her role at Troy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Huntingdon College, a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Alabama, where she also pursued additional certification in early music.

Dr. Blake Lile

An emerging tuba artist and educator, Dr. Blake Lile is the Lecturer of Low Brass and Music History at Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Prior to this position, Dr. Lile held positions at The University of Texas at Tyler, Collin College, East Central University, and Langston University.

Dr. Devin Guerrero

Devin Guerrero serves as Assistant Professor of Music Theory/Composition at Troy University. He received bachelor's degrees in music education and music theory from the University of North Texas, a master's in music theory from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a doctorate in fine arts with a specialization in music theory from Texas Tech University.

Kim is a music educator who has taught in the Aldine Independent School District in Houston, Texas, for two decades.

TROY alumna earns Houston Symphony's award for excellence in music education

Eun Sung Kim, a 2005 music education graduate, received the Houston Symphony's Spec Charitable Foundation Award for Excellence in Music Education. She was honored during the symphony's annual Salute to Educators performance on March 29. Kim is a strings teacher and Magnet Coordinator for Carter Academy , which is part of the Aldine Independent School District (ISD) in Houston, Texas. Kim, who has spent her entire career teaching in the Aldine ISD, said the recognition means the world to her personally, but not for the reasons people might expect.
