Funding: Opportunities & Research
Opportunities
This section of the OSP web site is designed to assist faculty and staff in seeking external partners to provide funding for proposals to support the mission of the university.
TROY faculty and staff are encouraged to search for funding opportunities through the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU), Grant Resource Center (GRC) grantsearch database. Faculty and staff should contact OSP to obtain access to this database.
Additional online resources are available to faculty and staff writers to seek sponsor funding. Several of these resources are listed below:

Since its launch in 2021, this team has facilitated several successful research collaborations. In addition, the Team includes valuable resources related to Tenure and Promotion—such as guidance on Watermark/Digital Measures, peer-shared T&P tips, and advice on recognizing and avoiding predatory publications.
Membership is open to all faculty members (full-time and adjunct), doctoral students, and staff involved in research across the TROY system. Over 330 faculty and staff members are currently part of the team. If you are a TROY faculty, staff member or doctoral student that would like to join the team, please email Dr. Shashidhar Belbase at sbelbase@troy.edu.
