ACEN specialized accreditation indicates that the School of Nursing has been found to meet or exceed standards and criteria for education quality. These standards meet the recognition standards of The Council for Higher Education Accreditation; ACEN also is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for nursing education.
