Study Abroad Opportunities with the College of Education
The College of Education (COE) International programs strive to provide students with strategic growth, expansion of international engagement, and mobility through study abroad experiences. The College of Education works collaboratively with various university units who are engaged in international education to increase the number of COE students who study abroad.
Global Learning Initiative
One of the missions of the College of Education is to provide strategic growth, expansion and management of college-level (COE) international partnerships. This includes creating and sustaining college managed international strategic/special programs, managing student mobility through study abroad experiences (semester, academic year, faculty-led programs), and working collaboratively with various university units who are engaged in international education to increase the number of COE students who study abroad. Students who become true Global Scholars merit recognition, so the COE has developed the Global Learning Initiative (GLI) Distinction Honor Medallion to award to students who build global and multicultural awareness through selected global-content courses, language study, and international study abroad opportunities.
