Welcome!

Have you ever wondered what a child is thinking? Well the Innovation and Creative Thinking class from TROY University has collaborated with Troy Elementary School to create a space for children to share a view of their world. This virtual experience will take you through a plethora of art work designed by fourth and fifth graders to show what their world is like.

The main focus for this project was to  give young students an outlet to share their feelings inside. We found it extremely important to start a conversation with young children about their feelings through art. They are our next innovators and game changers. We felt the need to help and provide a safe space for them. By doing so, we gave each class different prompts to draw about. For example, we asked them to draw what their world looks like, what the holidays are like for them, what’s their favorite memory, etc. With the help of the IdeaBank and the students from the Innovation and Creative Thinking class, we were able to but a spotlight on their voices.
