On behalf of the Student Government Association, we are thrilled to welcome you to
the Troy University! As you step onto campus, you're not just beginning classes—you're
starting a journey that will shape your future, challenge your potential, and connect
you to a lifelong Trojan family.
Welcome Week is designed to help you transition into college life, meet new friends,
and create unforgettable memories. From exciting events to engaging campus traditions,
this is your chance to get involved, explore opportunities, and start building the
experience you want at Troy.

- Bid Day – 10:00 AM, Sorority Hill
- Deck the Boots: Line Dancing Night
- 6:00–9:00 PM, Trojan Center Ballrooms
- UAC Event: Tipton to Troy (First Night Out)
- First Day of School Photos – 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
- UAC Inflatables – 6:00–9:00 PM, JRL Quad
- Fried Chicken Wednesday
- Apollo Night Talent Show – “Talent at the Tipton”
- Trojan Kickoff Party – 6:00–9:00 PM
- Church Services – Local churches
- PJs & Pancakes – 7:00–9:00 PM, Dining Hall
- Catholic Student Community (CSC)
- Snacks on the Quad
- Movie Night – 8:00–10:00 PM
- Puppies at the Tipton
- Tie-Dye & Paint Night + Speaker – 6:00–9:00 PM

What is Welcome Week?
Welcome Week is a special week of events and activities at the beginning of the school year designed
to help new and returning students get settled into campus life. At Troy University, Welcome Week is your official kickoff to college—a time to connect, explore, and
celebrate the start of your Trojan journey.
Here's what Welcome Week usually includes:
- Fun Events: Talent shows, parties, movie nights, free food, inflatables, games, and more
- Campus Resources: Meet student organizations, campus departments, and support services
- Community Building: Make friends, find your people, and start building your campus family
- Traditions: Participate in special Troy traditions that make being a Trojan unique
Why it matters:
- Helps you feel at home
- Prepares you for academic and social life at Troy
- Introduces you to involvement opportunities
